Booking at The Turf
Set on the edge of the estuary where the Exeter Canal merges with the River Exe, The Turf is a place to arrive slowly, settle in and stay a while. Whether you’re joining us for a long lunch or something more relaxed, we recommend booking ahead where possible.
We accept reservations up to 90 days in advance.

A Few Things to Know
All bookings are for indoor tables with full waiter service.
Our outdoor spaces — from the lawn to the waterside tables — are non-reservable and offered on a first come, first served basis. These areas do not have table service. If you’d prefer to sit outside when you arrive, you’re very welcome to do so, subject to availability on the day.
Please book for all guests including children and babies - just so we can allocate the correct table size for your group.
To secure your booking, we require a card authentication of £20 per guest.
No payment is taken at the time of booking, however this will be charged if the reservation is cancelled within 24 hours or in the event of a no-show.
If your plans change and your numbers reduce, there is no charge — we simply ask that you let us know in advance.
